Kirkland Hosts Public Forum for City Manager Recruitment

Kirkland city and annexation residents are invited to share their thoughts about the challenges facing Kirkland and what characteristics should the City’s next City Manager have to be successful in meeting those challenges. The City’s executive recruitment consultant, Bob Murray of Bob Murray & Associates, will facilitate the forum to be held Tuesday, January, 26, 7 p.m., Kirkland City Hall, Council Chambers, 123 5th Avenue. Participants will be asked to respond to the following questions:

  • What are the current issues and challenges facing the City of Kirkland and the organization? What will they be five and ten years from now?
  • What personal and leadership characteristics will be important for a new City Manager to be successful in meeting those challenges?
