Kirkland Arts Center, in partnership with the Seattle Print Arts and the Henry Art Gallery, is pleased to present TEN: Seattle Print Arts 2010 Anniversary Exhibition. This exhibition is part of Seattle Print Arts' ten-year anniversary celebration. Juried this year by Seattle Art Museum curator Michael Darling, the biennial exhibition of work by Seattle Print Arts members represents a wide range of ideas and techniques informed by printmaking practices and drawing.

Seattle Print Arts is an association of artists, arts professionals, and collectors who have an avid interest in the expanding field of print arts and an appreciation of the print media.  Seattle Print Arts is committed to providing artists with opportunities for inspiration and creative exchange, and affirming the importance and vibrancy of our arts community.

In conjunction with the Seattle Print Arts exhibition, the Henry Art Gallery presents a lecture by Michael Darling, the Jon and Mary Shirley Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Seattle Art Museum entitled Pulp Friction: Expanding the Definition of "Works on Paper". The lecture will look at contemporary artists working on paper today, with an emphasis on those who are treating paper in an innovative and ambitious way.
