Remodeled Washington Federal celebrates with ribbon cutting ceremony

The downtown Kirkland Washington Federal celebrated its grand reopening with a ribbon cutting ceremony before a room filled with longtime customers and bank personnel. Deputy Mayor Penny Sweet had the honor of cutting the ceremonial ribbon signaling the official reopening of a a downtown Kirkland institution. The newly remodeled bank, located 116 Kirkland Ave, welcomes the public to stop by and enjoy some coffee and cake as you check out the newly outfitted branch which first opened in 1955 as Seattle Federal Savings. Construction on the branch remodel took six months.
