Kirkland Community Serves 85 Families with Holiday Gifts

Here is a some good news to share this holiday season: KITH is grateful for the outpouring of community support for its 2010 Holiday Adopt-a-Family program. With its community partners KITH served 85 families with holiday gifts this year. What a beautiful difference the generosity of our eastside neighbors  has made for families in need this holiday season.

St. Louise Parish’s Indian Community, led by Lynn Creado and Sanjay Fernandes, honored KITH by caroling Saturday morning while families were picking up gifts for the holidays.

For over 20 years, KITH has provided transitional and longer-term housing, case management and practical support for families with children in East King County, helping them transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
