Juanita High School PE Teacher spent night lost at White Pass (Video)

Juanita High School physical education teacher, Kristian Dahl, became lost at White Pass when he and his uncle went into the backcountry area and could not find their way out, reports KING5 News. After spending 20 hours lost in the wilderness, search and rescue teams located the men early Sunday morning.

At some point the two stopped and tried to hike out, but instead they became disoriented in the trees and hiked further into the rugged forest. They left their skis behind and after walking about 6 miles were forced to stop, hunker down, and start a fire. Searchers with the White Pass Ski Area began a search, and Yakima County Search and Rescue joined in shortly after.
