Palettes and Pairings -- Kirkland's most inspiring night out!

What is Palettes and Paintings you may ask? It is an art studio that teaches acrylic painting techniques on canvas in a fun environment serving wine, beer, and appetizers. All paint and supplies, a glass of wine or beer, and perfectly paired appetizers are included. It is also one of Kirkland's newest businesses.

On Friday, March 18, Kirkland Mayor Joan McBride was on hand at Palettes and Pairings for their official ribbon cutting ceremony. McBride welcomed Elizabeth Shriner and her partner and mother, Amanda Seward as new business owners in Kirkland Parkplace (next door to Rikki Rikki). Following the ribbon cutting, Elizabeth and Amanda presented the Chamber of Commerce with one of their paintings.

Each class lasts about two hours, includes everything you need and costs about $40. Every participant leaves with a 16x20 original masterpiece.
