Kirkland Wednesday Market Seeks Volunteers for the 2011 Season

The Kirkland Wednesday Market is coming and we all love that and know how good it is for our local business but it can't be successful without lots of hard work and volunteers. This year, Christine Martin is the new market manager. Each Wednesday, beginning June 1st thru September 28th, Christine will need help in the following areas:

  • 11:30 to 2:00pm she has a need for 4 to 6 of volunteers to help the vendors unload;
  • 2:00pm to 7:00pm she needs 2 folks per shift to work the crosswalk at Lake Street and Park Lane;
  • 7:00pm to 8:00pm there is a need for 3 or 4 to help tear down the tents.

If it would be possible for you to help out at any of these hours or any of the days all you have to do is contact Christine Martin at 425-802-1572 or email her at

This is a great way to connect with the community and enjoy the activity of a bustling market in the heart of town. The market is seeking volunteers for a variety of tasks throughout the season.[/box]
