Kudos Kirkland Volunteers Clean Up Market Street (photos)

[scrollGallery id=168] On Thursday, a group of about eighteen Kudos Kirkland volunteers donned their bright orange safety vests and cleaned up the median on lower Market Street near Waverly Way. With the help of Public Works who created a safe work environment with cones and signs reading "Median Work Ahead," the volunteers got much accomplished. Starbucks generously supplied the work crew with coffee. Public Works Director Ray Steiger came down to give the group a big "kudos."

Many thanks for the numerous honks and waves from morning commuters as they drove by on their way to work. And thank you to the fantastic volunteer effort to help clean up Market Street!
