October 8 event seeks to help native plants grow
Community members, neighborhood, school, faith-based organizations and businesses are encouraged to help restore Juanita Creek in Juanita Beach Park by volunteering time to remove invasive plants and mulch around native plants. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, October 8, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Park, located at 9703 NE Juanita Drive. Tools and light refreshments will be provided.
