One in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and more than 33,000 men will die from the disease this year.
Because of these staggering statistics, the PACE Race Run/Walk Series was launched in 2002 as a method for the Prostate Conditions Education Council (PCEC) to increase national awareness of prostate cancer and men’s health issues.
Now known as SET the PACE for Prostate Cancer, PCEC hosts a series of events around the nation with a mission of increasing awareness of prostate cancer and to educate men and their families on early treatment options and other men's health issues.
