- Massive fir beams installed. Check.
- 50+ beer lines run. Check.
- Moose Antlers hung. Check.
Such are the items on Shawn Roten's list of things to do before The Lodge Sports Grille can open. The interior is coming along nicely as workers scurry about making the prime space on Lake Street into a northwest sports bar and grill. Next to be installed: massive floor to ceiling bifold doors facing the street which on warm days will be open to welcome hungry passersby.
The Lodge will soon join some of downtown Kirkland's well-established eateries including as the Wilde Rover, Hector's, George's, Lynn's Bistro, Trellis, The Slip, Paradiso, Cactus, Purple Cafe, Lucia, Rikki Rikki, Milagro, Le Grande, bin on the lake, The BeachHouse and Anthony's Homeport, all contributing to make Kirkland the hot dining destination on the Eastside.
The big screen televisions, food and beverages at The Lodge will be will be available during a soft opening starting the week of May 13. Stay tuned.
