LETTER | Parking for our parks

It's Sunday, but it isn't even summer yet. Here's a photo of what the parking situation looks like on NE 62nd Street near Houghton Beach Park. This is an observation, not a complaint. Lots of cars use side streets to access our beaches on sunny days.
I'm not sure what it's like around 10th Avenue South and Lake Street, near Marsh Park and Brink Park, but it will sure get much worse if we add the overflow from 143 apartments and an additional 316 cars in a 2 story underground garage on the Michael's Dry Cleaning lot.
Houston, we have a problem. Don't make it worse. There's a chance to tell the City Council that Tuesday night, May 15, City Hall, at 7:30 PM. The Council has to decide if the want a "residential density limit" on this "Neighborhood Business" zoned property.
