Kirkland Oktoberfest to support local nonprofits, September 27-29

Oktoberfest-Web-Logo-1 Hot-off-the-heels of producing the immensely successful Kirkland Summerfest, the Kirkland Events Foundation is thrilled to announce a new festival, Kirkland Oktoberfest - Oktoberfest with a Northwest twist.

Kirkland Oktoberfest will feature a München-style biergarten and festhalle with German beers, food, and music, along with long tables and loads of fun Oktoberfest activities.

It’s Oktoberfest with a Northwest twist—Kirkland Oktoberfest will also feature a unique selection of Northwest craft beers and ciders for tastings along with great Northwest food and entertainment, celebrating the Northwest and its bounty during the harvest season.

100% of the net proceeds from Kirkland Oktoberfest goes directly back to our community funding local nonprofits.


Set in Kirkland’s Marina Park and the downtown waterfront, Kirkland Oktoberfest takes place Friday September 27th through Sunday, September 29th. Festival attendees can also enjoy the Oktoberfest Village featuring unique vendors and family activities on Saturday and Sunday of the festival.

Though the Oktoberfest Village is free and open to all ages, admission to the Oktoberfest Biergarten requires a ticket and age of 21 years or older.

The Weekend Schedule is as follows:


  •         Friday, September Sept 27 – Oktoberfest Biergarten and First Keg Celebrations begin at 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm with lively German music entertainment and food.
  •         Saturday, September 28 –  Oktoberfest Beirgarten open 11:00 am to 11:00 pm with craft beer and cider tastings, Oktoberfest games, competitions, prizes, entertainment and food. The Oktoberfest Village will be open 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  •         Sunday, September 29 - Oktoberfest Biergarten open 11:00 am to 6:00 pm with craft beer and cider tastings, Oktoberfest games, competitions, prizes, entertainment and food. The Oktoberfest Village will be open 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.


Tickets for Kirkland Oktoberfest - Oktoberfest with a Northwest twist start at $20 and are available through the festival website at and Brown Paper Tickets. General Admission tickets and above include tokens good for beer and cider tastes, wine, German beers, and food. Ticket buyers can save with advance purchase of tickets before September 22nd to receive a bonus three (3) tokens. Additional tokens will be available for sale onsite. Admission to the beer gardens is 21 and older only and requires a ticket.

Kirkland Oktoberfest is produced by the Kirkland Events Foundation in partnership with the Detlef Schrempf Foundation. Proceeds from the event benefit the Eastside Community, community events, and the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, funding popular local events such as the Holiday Tree Lighting.
